Celtic Connections Eureka, held January 25th and 26th in 2008,
celebrates the growing enthusiasm for the Celtic culture of the Ozarks.  And of
course the beating heart of any Celtic celebration is the music – the plaintive voice
of bagpipes, the enchantment of fiddles and flutes, the heat of the dance and
drums.

Celtic Connections Eureka grew out of the first Robert Burns Night
Supper in 1998 hosted by a hardy band of Scots-Irish folk known as the Celtic
Knot Society.  Each year's event gathered more enthusiasm and participants, and
in 2005 the Society combined their event with
PaperMoon Attractions to invite the
Irish band Danú
to perform in concert to create a full weekend event.

This year, enjoy a special weekend devoted to Robert Burns, Scotland's most
famous Bard, as we celebrate his 249th birthday.
 Robert Burns Night Suppers
again will be hosted by the
1886 Crescent Hotel on both Friday and Saturday
evenings, with
Ed Miller , musician and Scottish folklorist, as special host.

Combine all this with the warm pubs, shopping (of course!), and the architectural
charm of this magical town as a backdrop and you have a Highland adventure
waiting for you right here in the Arkansas Ozarks!

Come visit Eureka Springs and see for yourself!
